Degree Projects
Trevi Group enters the classroom
The goal is to bring to the classroom, in addition to technical knowledge, the work experience gained in the field, in order to transfer the right skills to young students to best support educational programs.
Programs are characterised by an operational pragmatism that makes them extremely beneficial for all parties involved: students will be able to acquire new skills, enriching their educational background, and schools will have the opportunity to improve their mission of adequately preparing young people for entry into the work market; in this way, the company will be able to count on ready and capable young people.
Placement programs
Every year, the Trevi Group trains and places new graduates from Technical Institutes within its organisation: in maintenance workshops, machine assembly or on construction sites in Italy and abroad, promoting their personal and professional development. The program is structured through a training package of hours dedicated to assessment, onboarding and on-the-job training, providing skills, professionalism and cultural and personal experience. In this way, the Trevi Group facilitates the new generation by accompanying them into the work market, offering the opportunity to access a path to employment.
Partnership Projects
Partnership Projects involve the fourth-grade classes of a number of Technical High Schools participating in face-to-face lessons tailored to stimulate students’ interest in topics and insights that will enrich and complement their curriculum.
The most motivated students will have the opportunity to carry out summer internships in the company, within the assembly departments of Soilmec, machine maintenance and construction sites of Trevi. Then, it will be during the fifth grade that the young students, nearing graduation, will be selected to enter the company permanently.
Partnership in mechatronics
The project’s basis is the interchange between professionals and young people, which stimulates the learning of new skills through the sharing of experiences gained in the field. The Trevi Group, together with the “Ubaldo Comandini” State Professional Institute for Industry and Craftsmanship in Cesena, developed an innovative project that saw some company professionals take on the role of teacher. The idea was to bring to the classroom, in addition to knowledge, especially the work experience gained in the field to thus transfer to young students experiences and notions that elude educational programs.
Partnership in the geotechnical field
The collaboration with the U. Follador—De Rossi Institute in Agordo has been ongoing for several years. Many students have taken part in the professional training courses created ad hoc for young new school graduates and are now, for all intents and purposes, part of the team in the role of Site Assistants.
Since 2023, we have expanded our collaborations by creating a partnership with the Mottura Institute of Caltanissetta, CAT specialisation – “Construction, Environment and Territory”, always paying attention to the exchange of know-how and the inclusion of new graduates for new construction sites both in the territory of the Sicily region and in the remaining part of the national territory and abroad, thus contributing to a strengthening of the economic and social fabric.
HUB Machine Operators
Parallel to the training of site white collars, with the acquisition of numerous construction sites, there is a pressing need to put in specialised drilling operators to be able to meet the high demand of incoming projects. Therefore, the first innovative training course for complex machine operators in Italy was born, with the aim of training the operators of tomorrow. It is a totally free training course that, through a major communication campaign, sees the participation of students from all over Italy.
The course includes hours of theory and hours of practice in the field and the passing of several steps to be able to train participants on all aspects that are required by the role and for obtaining the mandatory licenses to operate the machines. Highly specialised Trevi Group personnel are in charge of training and guiding these young talents in the discovery of a job that requires passion, commitment and seriousness.
